Button

Button elements can be inserted into video, pdf, and image steps. They can be used to add a link to an external website or the homepage as well as to link internal documents that are relevant to the respective guide, or to simply link related guides.

Button attributes

• Button text
• Link - opens a URL in a new tab/window, or closes the tab if you write CLOSE

• Text Color
• Background color - this is a button color
• Font family
• Font size
• Dynamic element (only on video steps)
• Start time (only on video steps)
• End time (only on video steps)
• Group dropdown - to add the element to an existing group of elements

Set as default

Click Set as Default to use the same settings automatically in all future guides.

NOTE: Only users with the permission "Can save guide default styles" will see the button.
