Text
Text elements can be added to image and video steps. To add a text, click on a Text element from the right side of the editor.
Text attributes
- Text to speech - written text will be read out loud
- Play through pause - text to speech will continue so the audio doesn't stop if there's a Pause element in between. This is only applicable with text to speech.
- Language - can be set according to the language of the written text. Select from a variety of different voices.
- Speech to text - transform spoken words to text.
- Background
- Text Color
- Background color
- Background opacity
- Border color
- Font family
- Font size
- Dynamic element (only on video)
- Subtitle: users can enable or disable them when playing the video by clicking on the CC icon
- Blink
- Dynamic height
- Start & end time (only on video)
- Group dropdown - to add the element to an existing group of elements
Set as default
Click Set as Default to use the same settings automatically in all future guides.
NOTE: Only users with the permission "Can save guide default styles" will see the button.
