Translate and auto translate

If your guide is multilingual, you can translate all the text outside of the editor.

Before you can start translating, you need to add the languages to the guide. Once the languages are defined, you can start translating.

On the Project Page, click on the three-dot menu and select Translate.

Once you open the translation editor, all the languages are in a different tab.

Elements that can be translated are:

  • Title of the guide
  • Description of the guide
  • Step title
  • Step notes
  • Text including auto-translation of the text-to-speech (TTS) audio from the text element
  • Checkpoint
  • Image title and caption
  • Video title and caption
  • Button
  • Audio

Auto translate

You can also automatically translate all the elements with a single click on the button Translate. ATTENTION: Once the translations are made make sure to click on the SAVE button, to (re)generate the audio elements! This way also all the changes you have made to the translations are saved. NOTE: If existing translations are edited after the changes have been saved all voiceovers will be reloaded in the default voice for the respective Language.
