GENERAL

#1 NEW: Clipper now has a progress bar

We know it was difficult to guess when the clipper is going to finish clipping so we added the progress bar. This way you'll have a pretty clear picture how long till the progress is done.

#2 IMPROVEMENT: MEDIA LIBRARY - Show all content in folders with teams assigned

In the folder that is assigned to a team, all users can now see the files uploaded by others. To enable this, navigate to the Client properties - General - Other properties and tick the "Show all content in folders with teams assigned". Otherwise, users will only see their own uploaded files.

GUIDES

#1 NEW: Copy as plain text from other sources is now an option

Since we know some of you are using text elements to paste tables from other sources, we've enabled this back for you. In the Client properties - General - Other properties you can now select whether you want to paste as rich text or as plain text.

#2 NEW: PDF export now has output settings

You can now adjust the PDF output in the PDF settings.

#3 CHANGE - Not all responses are needed when rejecting the guide

We made an important change to guide rejection. Now, as soon as one person rejects the guide, the guide will be in an editable state again. This is to avoid gathering all the responses before the editor can edit the guide again.

#4 NEW - Vacation system

Users can set vacation mode for themselves and select a substitute user who can review/approve guides instead of them while the vacation mode is on.

A user can enable it from the header of the REWO platform...

... or their profile page

On the profile page, the user also needs to set the alternate user to whom the review/approval request will be sent.

To enable the vacation system, navigate to Client properties - General - Other properties and select both options.

NOTE - You cannot set the vacation mode until you select an alternate user.

#5 NEW - Set the guide's active status

The active date can be enabled for the guide in the guide properties or while reviewing/approving the guide.

To set the active date in the guide properties, open Properties and select the date. You can still approve the guide but until the selected date, the previous approved version will still be active.

Also, while reviewing/approving the guide, you can select the date of the guide activation.

First, click on the button ACTIVE DATE CHANGE

Then select the date and save the changes

To use the active date system, you need to enable it in the Client properties - General - Other properties

#6 NEW - Change the person for review/approval

While the guide is waiting for responses for review/approval, you can now swap users and select some other user to review/approve. To do so, click on the red icon in the Approve requests popup and select another person. Once you do that, previously selected person will not be able to review/approve the guide anymore.

#7 NEW: Approving with document type and different teams

By default, when approving the guide with the document types that have teams assigned, you need to select at least one user for review and approval from each team. Now, you can select in the Client properties - General - Other properties to select only one person from any team for review and approval if you enable "Only one team is required in the approval process" as long as in the end you have selected users from all the teams.

Example:
Document type A has 2 teams assigned - the "Review" team and the "Approve" team.

Default: For review/approval you need to select at least one user from both teams.
New: For review, you can select at least one user from the "Review" team, and for approval, you can select at least one user from the "Approve" team.

#8 NEW: Select multiple authors

You can now add more authors to the guide. This way you can lock guides to only be editable by a certain number of users.

In the guide properties, add the users as authors.

#9 NEW: Search guides by author

In the guide explorer, you can now use the global search to find all the guides from a certain author.

BOARDS

#1 NEW: Add an empty space as chapter

Now, when adding the chapter, you can add an empty chapter by clicking on the button "Add empty space".

#2 IMPROVEMENT: Improved search OR - AND

Now you can switch to OR and AND in the search field. 

OR - will filter all the elements that include the keyword.

AND - will filter all the elements that have exact string

#3 NEW: Add board as an element

You can add board as an element (the same way as you add guides).

#4 NEW: Edit all elements on the board

You can edit all the elements on the board and move them to another chapter through a selector.
